My favorite go-to is a smoothie, sweetened with natural maple syrup (or maple sap, during maple syrup season). If you happen to have maple sap, go ahead and add ¼ – ½ of a cup to your favorite smoothie recipe for a very subtle maple kick. Adding 1-2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup to a smoothie gives it a sweet boost that isn’t overwhelming like other sweeteners. Start your day right–on a sweet note!
